Photography for the Future

Gone are the days when your only way of fighting for something you believed in was to strap yourself to it protesting. Living in a world where we constantly try the direct approach to conservation, it’s a breath of fresh air when we see someone thinking outside the box to tackle issues from a different angle.

The first man to win BBC’s Eric Hoskings Photography Award (Heinrich van den Berg) is using his photography as a tool for change.

In a recent interview with Van den Berg he said, “I want to show the beauty that is out there. Then if people are aware of this beauty, they may think twice before destroying it.”

The message?Be part of the solution. Share your photographs and experiences wherever you can – you never know who you may be inspiring to appreciate something new.
