Rules:

This competition is open to all schools in the Saldanha Bay Municipal area (Langebaan, Saldanha, Vredenburg, Hopefield, St Helena Bay, Paternoster)

ONLY MATERIALS FOUND IN AND AROUND YOUR HOME MAY BE USED IN THESE PROJECTS, DO NOT BUY ANY MATERIALS AS FAR AS POSSIBLE

Entry forms must be handed in at any of the local Tourism Offices by no later than Friday 30 August 17:00.

Competition subject to sufficient number of entries

You may enter as many times as you like

All projects to be handed in at any of the SBTO Tourism Offices by no later than Monday 16 September 17:00

Judging will take place on 18 September at the SBTO Tourism Head Office

Public viewing of winning projects on World Tourism day 27 September at the SBTO Tourism Head Office

Entry form also available at the participating schools and at any of the Tourism Offices

Langebaan Lagoon Crossing
On 24 (or 25) March 2012, the 3rd Annual Langebaan Lagoon Crossing will be held, where participants will cross the Langebaan Lagoon from Shark Bay to Kraal Bay using muscle power alone. Although planned as an open water swim, swimming aids, kayaks, paddle boards, surf boards and any other more original methods are allowed and encouraged. Maximum fun, environmental awareness and safety remain the main themes of the 2012 event.
