The world of Bee’s are both interesting and intriguing and now you can have an amazing insight on exactly how this process works. Did you know that one of our members in Hopefield, SIMPLY BEE sells an array of bee products that are exported overseas as well? This includes a range of leather and wood polish, horse hoof balm, propolis products, candles and soaps, hair and facial products, a baby range, ointments and a men’s range. To view a full list of products, please go to http://www.simplybeeswax.co.za/products.html
Simply Bee will be having an open day at their brand new Observation Centre in Church Street, Hopefield from 10am – 7pm on Wednesday 26 March 2014. This centre was especially created to showcase the important role that bees play in the ecosystem, how honey is made, the life cycle of bees as well as an interesting background on the company Simply Bee. They have now also created the very first glass observation hive so you can, in a safe manner, have a firsthand insight of how a bee colony lives and how these busy little bees go about their daily work of making honey.
It’s absolutely free of charge and well worth the trip to Hopefield! This is also something great for visitors to see so be sure to tell your guests about it!
